Artem Belogurov, harpsichord

Artem Belogurov is equally at home on the modern piano, harpsichord, clavichord, and the many varieties of historical pianos. His repertoire spans four centuries, encompassing solo, concerto, and chamber music. Recent highlights include concerto appearances with Concerto Köln at Lincoln Center in New York and the Library of Congress in Washington, as well as with Camerata RCO in Sofia, Bulgaria. As a soloist, chamber musician, duo partner with cellist Octavie Dostaler-Lalonde, and founding member of the ensemble Postscript, Artem has performed at leading international festivals, including Festival Montréal Baroque, Festival Royaumont, Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht, and Musica Antiqua Brugge. His performances have taken him to renowned venues such as Wigmore Hall, Jordan Hall, the Concertgebouw, Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, and TivoliVredenburg. Artem is deeply interested in research, particularly Romantic performance practice, and enjoys reviving forgotten expressive devices through experimentation. His discography includes recordings for BIS, Piano Classics, Berlin Classics, Challenge Classics, and TRPTK. Upcoming projects include recording the complete Mozart keyboard sonatas and violin and keyboard sonatas with violinist Rachael Beesley. Artem is on the faculty of the Utrecht Conservatory.
